The .JOBS top-level domain (TLD) will now feature fully customizable homepages, as well as flexible templates and interactive jobs maps to assist companies in amplifying their employment brand.
INDIANAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Indianapolis nonprofit, DirectEmployers Association, announces the release of upgrades to its .JOBS Microsites. Employers now have the opportunity to fully brand and modify each of their microsites by using the .JOBS Flexible Template, Custom Homepage and an interactive jobs map that displays job opportunities visually by location.
Over the past year, DirectEmployers has continued to build-out and modify the microsites within the .JOBS Universe. In addition to the already search engine optimized platform and responsive interface, both the Flexible Template and Custom Homepage upgrades give employers a competitive edge, and allow for the incorporation of additional employment branding opportunities.

With these new updates, the employer can more efficiently market their company’s employment brand and job seekers can view more of the culture and unique selling points the company is looking to portray. DirectEmployers member company REI, a nation wide outdoor retail cooperative, was the first company to pilot the Custom Homepage feature on their site, http://rei.jobs. During implementation, REI chose to make their .JOBS Microsite and their corporate site join together seamlessly by incorporating images, copy and videos to be cohesively branded like their .COM site.
Along with the employer branding upgrades taking place on the .JOBS Microsites, an interactive jobs map is now available for employers to use, giving job seekers the ability to search for jobs visually near their locale. DirectEmployers member company IHG was the first to deploy an interactive jobs map on their site http://ihg-hotel.jobs/, which features their open positions around the nation.
