GoDaddy is announcing the integration of GoDaddy Email Marketing, an email marketing solution; Shippo, a customized shipping solution; and McAfee SECURE Certification with GoDaddy Online Store, GoDaddy’s ecommerce offering for small businesses to set up online storefronts. The updates strengthen GoDaddy’s suite of tools designed to help small businesses run their online business smoothly and grow, while providing a holistic customer experience.
GoDaddy Online Store launched in 2014 and has grown to serve merchants globally who are selling goods worth millions of dollars a week. With this release, GoDaddy Online Store merchants would be able to take advantage of several differentiating features that will help them sell more and be productive on the backend of managing their operations.
With GoDaddy Email Marketing, small business owners can easily stay in touch with their current customers, engage with prospects, and drive more repeat business. When creating a newsletter business owners can quickly add product information from their store into their email marketing campaign. When a customer visits the website and purchases a product, they can sign up to automatically receive newsletters and updates from the business. Additionally, Online Store with Email Marketing gives customers a one-click way to add an email newsletter signup widget to their site.
The integration collects email addresses from site visitors and buyers, help manage those contacts, and creates and sends email campaigns all in one place. According to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), email marketing outperforms other marketing strategies, earning USD $43 for every $1 spent on average (source: DMA’s Statistical Fact Book, April 2013).
