Scammer Alert! Appraisal Scam! 2 emails on two different domains in one day!

I received two emails today at two different email addresses today. The scammer’s name is Aaron Anderson and the email address is coming from ceo@live-host.org. Just be aware and please do not fall for this scam. The scammer will come back and tell you to order an appraisal before he will purchase your domain. I haven’t had one of these emails in a long time. Morgan Linton has a great post here about it here:

Mr. Anderson offered me $3500 after I sent him my price for Streamable.net for $2500. This idiot came back with $3500 lol. That would tell me most of these messages are possibly automated. I always try to hold a conversation with these scammers to get more information on what they are doing. I would recommend if you get any of these emails report them here:

Thank you Morgan for making everyone aware of this scam and copies of the email messages so other domainers can be aware of this scam!

Email String:

I’m very interested in purchasing streamable.net.

I found it listed for sale.

Please respond with a desired price for your domain in the subject line (in USD, Euros or other currency).

If you have other names for sale please email me your list with prices.

2nd email –

I may offer up to 3500 usd for this domain but the final price will depend on an official appraisal results. I have 75,000 usd budget for 10-12 domains.

How can I pay you (PayPal, Western Union, escrow.com etc.)? If this is your first time domain sale I may help you with the sale/transfer process.

Are you a member of domain seller communities/forums? Probably, we know each other under some nicknames?

Best regards,

Aaron Anderson

3rd Email:

I do no want to pay more than the domain is worth. I cannot proceed without
the evaluation and the trademark verification. It’s a big risk for me.

Without the evaluation certificate you won’t be able to sell. Sooner or
later, you’ll have to obtain the valuation.
