Some .co chatter hitting the streets. Does this mean something big may be on its way?

Finally there is some .co news hitting the streets. This may be a sign of some possibly big news to come out in the next few days/weeks.
This is only speculation but given how quiet the .co scene has been, it could be noteworthy.

According to a blog just posted tonight from CircleID.com, .CO has opened the door to a new era of internet innovation. It is a great article explaining what has been happening with the .co extension and the future of .co. From my perspective .co domains are strong. Big companies are branding their businesses with domains ending in .co. I feel .co is a winner, not because I own about 100 of them, but because of the innovation and genius marketing that was done to give .co a kick start in this industry.

I have listed below some recent .co sales that may show an indication of an uptrend in interest in the extension. I, as well as other .co investors should welcome this as good news.

Mirror.co – Sold for $11,000 on May 22nd 2012

XES.co – Sold for $1,750 on May 22nd 2012

Jewelry.co – sold for $24,000 on May 21st 2012

Flexable.co – Sold for $2,825 on May 18th 2012

Socially.co – Sold for $1,100 on May 15th 2012

Cigarettes.co – Sold for $7,000 on May 8th 2012

e-ticket.co – Sold for $2,500 on May 8th 2012

Lactalis.co – Sold for $1,032 on May 8th 2012

DutyFree.co – Sold for $1,100 on May 4th 2012

Hallway.co – Sold for $1,150 on May 2nd 2012

These names all sold on sedo.com. It appears that some strong sales are occurring, not to mention the sales that are not even reported. I am going to say that .co still has some huge potential and I think you need to think twice before letting your .co’s drop.

Below is an added bonus that I just found out about. It looks like Godaddy.com is selling .co’s for $7.99. That seems like a pretty good deal opposed the the $29.99 they were asking for when .co first launched.

Get Noticed with a $7.99 .CO!
